While living
near Tucson Arizona we experienced nearly devastating damage to
our cars, truck, RV and our enclosed trailer by rats, ground squirrels,
and a young dog of our own.
The dog stripped
every bit of wiring from our enclosed trailer from tongue to tail.
He also chewed heavily on the corner trim of our house making us
have to replace all of it before we could sell our home.
To make matters
worse, our older RV was damaged extensively by rats and ground squirrels.
The little critters stripped away all of the vacuum lines, spark
plug wires, fuel lines, and did a ton of damage to any piece of
wiring they could reach. They chewed whole bundles of wiring harness
off under the vehicle and carried it away.
It took a solid
month to repair the damage to the RV alone.
Our pickup truck
was extensively damaged by the rats chewing on wires and even our
radiator hoses, and they had even made nest from the hood insulation
inside of the air cleaner housing. Keep in mind, our truck was driven
almost daily, most of the damage was done over night.
We were fortunate
that I could personally do the repairs myself on all of the vehicles.
It would have cost an arm and a leg to have the repairs done by
a shop.
After moving
outside of Snowflake Arizona up in the Juniper Tree forest, we immediately
started experiencing more issues with the little vermin in our new
location. We have battled with this problem for nearly 5 years now
using about every kind of deterrent and trap you can think of and
yet, it continued to be a constant problem that just wasn't being
cured by any solution we tried.
Leaving the
hood up was not a good idea as you might as well just give away
your battery or any other component someone needed.
That all said,
as an inventor and being very persistent, Danial Miller, took the
project on as a challenge and developed the ANTI RAT PRO™
spray on product that solves the issues stopping the damage done
by rats, mice, rabbits, cats, dogs, and any other 4 legged creature
that might find the things under your hood tasty or useful as a
nesting material.
This product
is not a poison so you don't have to worry about your pets or any
wildlife eating something that has been poisoned and die from eating
it. This product also does not leave a (human perceptible odor)
once dry so anyone sensitive to products with fragrance or other
chemicals can feel safe using it.
We also were
asked by people about its use as a deterrent to keep rabbits from
eating young trees and other plants. Which yes, it can certainly
be used as a spray on deterrent without harming the bunnies.
Another question
that was asked, was it possible to use the product on other machines
such as washers and dryers? Our area is maybe a bit unique in that
a lot of folks actually keep these machines outside under a shed
roof or in a car port. And yes, it will work on anything that you
want to protect from animals of all kinds.
Another experience
we had was after spending good money on a heavy duty 100 foot water
hose, we came out the next morning to find it chewed into several
short pieces by a dog that lived in the area.
We love living
out in the country side, but us country folk need to be pro active
to handle issues sometimes that city living people don't usually
have to deal with.
It has proven
to be a bit more expensive to produce this product than we had expected,
but given the cost and frustration of having to have our vehicles
repaired or even totaled by vermin, this new product has proven
to be the perfect solution to the problem.
Our goal now
is to get this product into retail outlets around the country and
into any market place we can.
